Bournemouth School For Girls is in the Dorset Consortium, which consists of Bournemouth School, Bournemouth School for Girls, Parkstone Grammar School and Poole Grammar School.

Does Bournemouth School For Girls have a catchment area?

The catchment area is made up of the following postal addresses: BH1 to BH11, BH12 5, BH23 1, BH23 2 and BH23 3.

How Does Place Allocation Work?

Where qualifying applications exceed the number of places available, places will be allocated in the following order of priority:

  2. Girls who live within the school’s designated catchment area and are eligible for Pupil Premium.

  3. Girls who live outside the school’s designated catchment area and are eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant will then be ranked in order of the total of their entrance test scores, with those girls obtaining the highest scores given higher priority.

  4. 100 places will be assigned to girls who scored most highly in the entrance tests.

  5. Girls who live within the school’s designated catchment area.

  6. The remaining eligible girls will be ranked in order of the total of their entrance test scores, with those girls obtaining the highest scores given higher priority.
