Children eligible for the Pupil Premium at the time of the Test who achieve the qualifying score by rank order of standardised score but limited to no more than 30% of pupils in this category (currently 45 places).
Other children who have achieved the qualifying score by rank order of standardised score until the Published Admissions Number is reached.
School Summary
Queen Mary’s High School was founded in 1893 as an all-girls grammar school. The school is twinned with Queen Mary's Grammar School which is its all-boys counterpart. The main school is girls only, but boys may join for Sixth Form.
Queen Mary’s has a specialism in languages, offering Mandarin, French, German, or Spanish from year 7-11. The school also sponsors exchanges with several schools in Germany and Japan. Pupils can choose to take Latin or Greek as an extracurricular activity, resulting in an additional GCSE.
