The pass mark for each year is decided after the tests have been marked.
The topics have the following weighting: 50% English and verbal reasoning; 25% maths and 25% non-verbal reasoning.
Other Exam information
All questions are multiple choice.
Students will sit two papers, each lasting 45 minutes.
One paper includes comprehension, technical English and verbal reasoning.
The other includes non-verbal reasoning, spatial reasoning and maths.

How to Apply for 11 Plus (11+) Entry to Aylesbury High School?
Applications to sit the entrance exam must be made on the school website over the summer before your child begins Year 6. You can register here.
You must also formally apply for a place at the school before midnight on the 31st of October (when your child is in Year 6) to be considered. You can find out more about applying for secondary schools in your local area here.

Sisters of boys currently on the roll of Aylesbury Grammar School.
Sisters of girls who have previously been on the roll of Aylesbury High School.
Children of Aylesbury High School staff.
Girls who have exceptional medical or social needs, which can only be met at
Aylesbury High School.
Girls living in the catchment area of the school.
Girls living outside the catchment area of the school.
