The pass mark for each year is decided after the tests have been marked.
Other Exam information
Students will sit three papers, each lasting 45–50 minutes.
Both GL papers (English and verbal reasoning) contain multiple choice questions.
The maths paper is school written. Its structure can be considered similar to that of a SATs paper.
There will be a short break between papers.

How to Apply for 11 Plus (11+) Entry to Loreto Grammar School?
Applications to sit the entrance exam must be made on the school website over the summer before your child begins Year 6. You can register here.
You must also formally apply for a place at the school before midnight on the 31st of October (when your child is in Year 6) to be considered. You can find out more about applying for secondary schools in your local area here.

Loreto Grammar School does not have a catchment area but in the event of a tie-break, the closest distance from home to Loreto Grammar School will be applied. Entry to the school is based firstly on the scores achieved in the 11+ tests.
Baptised Girls who attended an associated primary school AND live in a nominated local pastoral area are given priority.

Where qualifying applications exceed the number of places available, places will be allocated in the following order of priority:
Baptised Roman Catholic looked after girls and Baptised Roman Catholic previously looked after girls.
Baptised Roman Catholic girls who have sisters in the school at the time of admission.
Baptised Roman Catholic girls who attend an associated Primary School and live in a nominated Local Pastoral Area.
Other Baptised Roman Catholic girls.
Other looked after girls and previously looked after girls.
