How to Apply for 11 Plus (11+) Entry to Queen Elizabeth's High School?
Applications to sit the entrance exam must be made on the school website over the summer before your child begins Year 6. You can register here.
You must also formally apply for a place at the school before midnight on the 31st of October (when your child is in Year 6) to be considered. You can find out more about applying for secondary schools in your local area here.

How Does Place Allocation Work?
Where qualifying applications exceed the number of places available, places will be allocated in the following order of priority:
Looked after children and all previously looked after children.
Children with a sibling on roll at Queen Elizabeth's High School at the time of application.
Children of staff employed at the school.
‘Local children’ (within 9 miles of the school) with priority will be given to the child living closest to the school by driving distance.
Children registered as either currently in receipt of Free School Meals or has been in receipt of Free School Meals within the past 6 years.
Children living more than 9 miles from the child's home address by driving distance.
