How to Apply for 11 Plus (11+) Entry to St Michael’s Catholic Grammar School?
Applications to sit the entrance exam must be made on the school website over the summer before your child begins Year 6. You can register here.
You must also formally apply for a place at the school before midnight on the 31st of October (when your child is in Year 6) to be considered. You can find out more about applying for secondary schools in your local area here.

Rickmansworth School does not have a catchment area. Entry to the school is based firstly on the scores achieved in the 11+ tests.
How Does Place Allocation Work?
Where qualifying applications exceed the number of places available, places will be allocated in the following order of priority:
Baptised Catholic girls, from a practising Catholic family, who are looked after or have previously been looked after and ranked amongst the top 200 places in the entrance test.
Baptised Catholic girls, from a practising Catholic family, who are in receipt of the Pupil Premium and are ranked amongst the top 200 places in the entrance test.
Baptised Catholic girls, from a practising Catholic family, in rank order beginning with the highest.
Baptised Catholic girls in rank order beginning with the highest.
Girls of other Christian denominations in rank order beginning with the highest.
Other looked after girls.
Other girls in receipt of Pupil Premium.
Any other girls.
