The pass mark for each year is decided after the tests have been marked.
The weightings are 50% for English and verbal reasoning, 25% for non-verbal reasoning and 25% for mathematics.
Other Exam information
All questions are multiple choice.
Students will sit two papers, each lasting 50β60 minutes.

How to Apply for 11 Plus (11+) Entry to Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls?
Applications to sit the entrance exam must be made on the school website over the summer before your child begins Year 6. You can register here.

How Does Place Allocation Work?
Where qualifying applications exceed the number of places available, places will be allocated in the following order of priority:
Children who are looked after or previously looked after, who achieve the qualifying score by rank order of standardised score;
Children who qualify for Pupil Premium who achieve the qualifying score by rank
order of standardised score (up to 36 students).
Children who achieve the qualifying score by rank order of standardised score.
