Exam Information

Exam style — School's own exam and GL Assessment.

Exam types:

  • Verbal Reasoning

  • Non-Verbal Reasoning

  • Creating Writing

  • Mathematics

Exam length — 4x 30 minute exams totalling 2 hours.

Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the admissions test.

Other exam and entry information

  • The reasoning exams are set by GL Assessment.

  • The creative writing and maths papers are set by the school.

  • The online registration form must be filled out before the end of October alongside a non-refundable registration fee of £200.

  • Applicants will also be invited to sit a 15-minute interview with a member of staff. This will take place prior to writing the assessment exams.

  • The assessment exams take place in the January of Year 6.

  • Offers will be sent to successful candidates by mid-February, and the acceptance forms must be returned one month after receiving it. The non-refundable mandatory deposit fee of £3000 must be paid. £2000 will be put toward tuition, and £1000 will be reimbursed when the pupil leaves school.
