The papers we’ve shared below are in similar style to those typically delivered as 11 plus assessments by Merchant Taylors' Boys' School, Merseyside.

New 11+ practice papers are sent out via email every Friday. You can sign up to receive these, every week, using the form above.
Exam Information
Exam style — School’s own exam.
Exam types:
English
Maths
Non-Verbal Reasoning
Verbal Reasoning
Exam length — 3x 30 minute exams + 1x 45 minute exam (verbal reasoning).
Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the exam.
Other exam and entry information:
The assessment exams are held in the November of Year 6.
All exams are taken online, apart from the verbal reasoning paper.
Academic scholarship applicants must also take an additional 30-minute mathematics exam.
Applicants will be required to submit a reference and updated report from their current school.
Acceptance letters will be sent to parents shortly after the assessment is complete.
