Students will sit two papers on two different dates, each lasting 45-50 minutes.

How to Apply for 11 Plus (11+) Entry to Devonport High School for Girls?
Applications to sit the entrance exam must be made on the school website over the summer before your child begins Year 6. You can register here.

Devonport High School for Girls does not have a catchment area, however in the case of a tie, the location and distance of the childβs house to the school will be used to make the final decision. However, entry to the school is based firstly on the scores achieved in the 11+ tests.
How Does Place Allocation Work?
Where qualifying applications exceed the number of places available, places will be allocated in the following order of priority:
Looked after and previously looked after children who achieve a score equal to or higher than the adjusted cut off score for this school, by rank order of highest score in the 11-plus examination.
Up to 12 places will be allocated to candidates who achieve a score equal to or higher than the adjusted cut off score for this school and who qualify for the free school meals pupil premium or Ever 6 FSM3 by rank order of highest score in the 11-plus examination.
Other candidates by rank order of highest score in the 11-plus examination.
