How to Apply for 11 Plus (11+) Entry to Langley Grammar School?

Applications to sit the entrance exam must be made on the school website over the summer before your child begins Year 6. You can register here.

How Does Place Allocation Work?

Where qualifying applications exceed the number of places available, places will be allocated in the following order of priority:

  1. Eligible applicants with a permanent home address within the school’s Priority Area 1 and are eligible for Pupil Premium.

  2. Eligible applicants with a permanent home address within the school’s Priority Area 1, in rank order of performance in the admission examination, up to a maximum of 100 places.

  3. Eligible applicants with a permanent home address within the school’s Priority Area 2 and are eligible for Pupil Premium.

  4. Eligible applicants who are children of permanent members of the staff.

  5. Eligible applicants with a permanent home address within the school’s Priority Area 2, in rank order of performance in the admission examination.

  6. Eligible applicants who live within the school’s Priority Area 3, in rank order of performance in the admission examination.
