11 Plus Exam Pass Mark and Target Score
The pass mark for each year is decided by the school after the tests have been marked.
Parents are not informed of the exact score their child achieved. They are only told whether their child has passed. Children who are unsuccessful will sometimes be informed of their marks.
Students must achieve the minimum qualifying score in the SET (first stage of testing) to be invited back to sit the second stage tests.
Other Exam information
All questions are multiple choice in both the English and maths exams.
The second stage consists of an extended English writing task and a standard answer Maths paper. These tests are not multiple choice.
